In the Bohemian Forest near Kašperské Hory there was a glassworks in operation until the middle of the 20th century, which at the end of the 19th and the first decades of the 20th century was one of the very best in the world. Local Art Nouveau and Modernist glasses, often made according to the designs of leading contemporary artists. Thanks to an Austrian collector, since 2014 visitors have had the opportunity to see one of the largest and most valuable European collections of Lötz glass in the glass pavilion. More than 800 Šumava glasses from Klášterský Mlýn are exhibited here.
