Station Wognum-Nibbixwoud (abbreviation Wn) is the railway station in West Frisian Wognum. The station is of the standard type of the HN, dates from 1887 and is located on the Hoorn - Medemblik railway line of the former Local Railway Company Hollands Noorderkwartier, which opened in the same year.
The station was opened on November 3, 1887 and closed for passenger traffic on January 1, 1936. From 1898 to 1930, Wognum was also the terminus of the tram line Wognum - Schagen of the SMWF.
From May 29, 1940 to January 5, 1941 it was open again for passenger traffic. Goods transport continued until 1972. The first trip of the Steam Tram Hoorn-Medemblik took place on 23 May 1968. Since 1969 there has been a regular steam tram service.
The building is listed as a monument and is now owned by the Stoomtram. The station building was restored to its original state in the 1990s and has been used by SHM ever since. The former station is located at Spoorstraat 2.
