Ehrenberg is wonderful to hike. The bridge in the Auental valley is particularly beautiful. Information signs there provide details about the birdlife in the valley. With a bit of luck, you might even spot deer in the thicket. The surrounding area is beautifully wild and overgrown. Wild orchids create a vibrant and colorful scene 😊. Even raspberry bushes grow along the path. A hike here is highly recommended and absolutely stunning ☀️.

The Ehrenberg (also Irnsbarg or Ehrensberg) is at 23 meters one of the few prominent elevations in the Stader Geest. A little off the path along the garden of the stones is the burial mound in the forest. There isn't much to see here. Nevertheless, exciting story along the way.
