The Mörchenscharte is located on the Berliner Höhenweg. The ascent and descent is steep. The exposed areas just below the gap in the direction of the Greizer hut are extremely demanding. Although rope insurance, the kicks are extremely narrow, sometimes only half a foot width.

Small climbing passage but well secured with ropes and easy to do if you are free from giddiness and sure-footed.
