Sitting in the sands that separate two salt lakes, the enormous Chott El Djerid and smaller Chott El Gharsa, Mos Espa is the abandoned film set. Even if you are not a Star Wars fan, you'll find beautiful dunes and other sand formations. I camped north of the dunes, with a view of the mountain range I left a few days before. The easiest way to Mos Espa is via the newly reconstructed road—leaving the town of Naftah northward.
