The border crossing is located on the bridge just above the river Świsłacz. On both its banks, you can easily see the border posts of both countries.
However, what makes the biggest impression is the characteristic inspection gate "мир" seen from afar (pronounced mir, which in Russian can mean, among others: peace, silence or tranquility) on the Belarusian side. Next to it, there is a brick building, and right in front of it, an old, leaning wooden pole - overgrown with merciless ivy in the summer.
Standing in front of it, you literally stop in time, and also get the impression that it was this road that used to enter the country of all prosperity, order and peace.
