Galilea is a municipality in the Rioja Media region, in the province and autonomous community of La Rioja, located in the lower part of the Ocón valley.
The town is located on a hill from where you can see the Sierra de Cantabria to the northwest, the western Pyrenees to the northeast and in the distance, and the beech and pine forests of the Sierra de la Hez to the south.
The church of San Vicente, from the 16th century, is a part of its heritage, a building made of ashlar masonry, masonry and brick with a nave, with three sections, transept and apse. The hermitage of the Virgen de Gracia, next to the cemetery, is from the 18th century, and houses a carving of the virgin from the 16th century. The archbishop's palace house, currently privately owned, has three floors and was built by Archbishop Diego de Tejada.
