The Wye intersection is where the Powwow path splits and begins its 25 mile loop through the wilderness. Taking the right trail with take you counterclockwise, and the left will go clockwise. Here you may wish to turn around and head back to the trailhead if you are not overnight camping.
Just before the Wye you will find ponds made by beavers, and you may even be able to see beaver lodges as well.
