The Pedrique Monastery has been a place of meditation and spiritual retreat for hermits since the 13th century. Already in the 18th century, this farm was acquired, which at that time was an old olive grove and an orchard. The investment in repopulating the olive grove and working the garden made the monastery a self-sufficient and prosperous place. At present, Pedrique has become the exhibition place of the universal sculptor D. Aurelio Teno. In Pedrique we can contemplate the fusion of art and nature. In the exterior exhibition, we see beautiful courtyards with their series of insects, goats and other animals; The great Quixote presides over it, as a symbol of the Castilian language and the constant struggle of man. In the Gray room located on the ground floor of the building, you can see different sculptures and paintings come together to create a unique and mystical work, like the shamans and witches that recreate the magical world of Pedrique. On the 1st floor are the famous Teno eagles, made of bronze, quartz and geodes. The ground floor, the Rosa room, shows the chronological work of the sculptor: from the models of the monuments he made for different international institutions, to the sculptures of his time in Paris. The upper floor houses the series "Tauromaquia" as a tribute to the bravery and pain of the bull.
