Standing at 10,319 feet, Fletcher Peak is one of the five major summits that surround Kyle Canyon (the others being Mummy Mountain, Charleston Peak, Griffith Peak, and Harris Mountain). The summit of Fletcher Peak provides fantastic views of those surrounding summits and of the entire valley overlooking the town of Mount Charleston as well as Cathedral Rock and Echo Cliffs. You also get some of the best views of Mummy Mountain and its impressive sub peak - the "Mummy Toe" - directly northwest from Fletcher Peak. This exposed, limestone summit, ringed with bristlecone pines, is a great place to drink water, eat food, and take photographs before signing the summit register and departing.
