The passenger ship "Möwe" on the Haltern reservoir starts its season on March 1st. Tickets are available at moewe-haltern.de. The "Möwe" is fully electric and glides almost silently over the reservoir.

You can combine your hike of the Hohe-Mark-Steig with a small boat tour. Because the landing stage here on the north bank is directly on the water route from the Hohe Mark Steig. If you then take the ship to the southern shore (Seehof pier), you can continue with stage 5 here.

Mayor Andreas Stegemann also sees it this way: "The laying of the keel is a first step towards the realization of this ecologically and economically significant showcase project," he congratulated.
