Very old Ardennes village whose houses are clustered around the shale spur on which is located the church which gave its name to the village,
The village has retained a classic appearance over the ages as evidenced by the few farms from the end of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Among the curiosities, we will also note the town hall, built in place of the old 17th century castle, as well as the distillery which, between 1884 and 1970, manufactured quality herbal liqueurs in an artisanal manner. The Chapel of Hope and its naive-inspired fresco are also a must-see.
