Up here, there are at least two bunkers (larger than one room) that can be explored. It's best to bring a good flashlight and wear proper footwear. There's sometimes a bit of water.

Access is also possible for people of average build.

There are different sources and perceptions regarding the number of steps. 408, 418, 423, ... and of course, there are a few inclines.

More precise information is available at the summit cross: Kniven peak is 158 meters above sea level. Aksla is about 50 meters further east and 165 meters high.

The stairs are built in a contemporary style, and rest areas are cleverly integrated into the route. The lookout with an overhang halfway up the path is daring and not easy to reach for everyone.
