At the point on the GR 107, where the path makes a gentle bend, the hiker is presented with a sight that takes your breath away and takes your step: the emblematic Pedraforca massif. It rises majestically from the landscape, as if the earth itself had created a monumental throne for the gods of the mountains.

Depending on the time of day and the lighting conditions, the massif changes its colors, from a delicate pink in the first light of dawn to deep violet and blue tones in the last twilight of the day. Shadows and light dance over the jagged rocks, telling stories of millions of years, of the wind and weather that have shaped this formation.

It is a place of silence where, surrounded by the vastness of nature, you feel your own smallness and at the same time feel a sense of wonder and awe. A moment in which time seems to stand still and you just want to linger and absorb this natural wonder.

The GR 107 has many beauties to offer, but this view of the Pedraforca massif is undoubtedly one of its highlights, an unforgettable moment on any hike through this impressive landscape.
