    The lake trail is beautiful and extremely secluded. There is a campsite halfway along the lake which makes a great spot to spend the night before hiking onwards or back to town.

    To get here you will have to either ford the Middle Fork Flathead River — which can be quite dangerous and is best approached in the late summer — or hike in via the South Fork Boundary Trail.
