"Brief description of the LVR office for the preservation of monuments in the Rhineland

Fuhr 12, former cloth factory Arnold Hueck & Cie.

Constructed mid 19th century (probably 1845) with extensions 1889 to 1895;

In the Wupperaue on the other side of the historic town center, a three-story brick factory with nine to three axes. pitched roof. The building is surrounded by two octagonal stair towers with a tent roof. A weather vane with the inscriptions "AH" and "1879" on each of the towers.

The building monument includes later additions in brick construction on the western side: two-storey machine house with pitched roof, two axes to the west side, round window in the gable (built 1891); a slightly lower shed roof hall, in turn round windows are built into individual sheds (built in two sections of three sheds each in 1889 and 1895), which are currently bricked up.

Part of the Fuhr/Aue factory ensemble."

The property of the former Hueck factory is a registered permanent monument (monument list of the city of Hückeswagen, serial no. 138; LVR-ADR, obj. no. 10180).
