From the Eldorado of the beach pirates to the retreat of the sand martins - the Brodtener steep bank with its approximately four kilometer long cliffs is a wonderful destination for all nature-loving people. From here there is a fantastic panoramic view of the Bay of Lübeck and the small and large ships that are navigating the Baltic Sea. The steep bank, which is up to 20 meters high, was named after the nearby village of Brodten north of Travemünde and is located in the Brodtener Winkel conservation area.
If you want to enjoy the great view of the sea alone, then visit the Brodtener Ufer early in the morning and make yourself comfortable on a bench on the steep edge with a cup of morning coffee!
