1240 - The village of Wollin is first mentioned in a document as "Woldin" (i.e. a place of a herd of oxen). Perhaps the Slavic god of oxen, Voloß, was worshipped here.
1261 - Wollin has a church, which, together with its income, belongs to the church of St. Peter in Szczecin. The church is a relatively original building made of fieldstone from the transition period from Romanesque to Gothic. The large tower portal and the smaller entrance gate on the north side, as well as the walls, some of which have preserved the cut joints on the lower eastern gable, come from this period.
1292 - the church tower was built, which was renovated and raised in 1772, and a new crown was installed on its top.
The Baroque altar with a two-storey column structure and carved cheeks was created around 1700. The paintings painted on wood depict the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples in the so-called predella, in the middle Christ before his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane, and on top his burial.
1717 - Baroque pulpit and new confessional are built. Around 1700 a brass baptismal bowl was made with a representation of Adam and Eve in paradise. The bowl was brought to us as a find when we escaped from Friedefeld in 1945, where it had served as a bowl for feeding geese for many years (the baptismal table dates back to 1861).
1853 - organ built by Wiegener and Schramm from Szczecin for 630 thalers.
It was one of the few organs in the area to survive the post-war period and is still regularly played during services.
