The Morcillo camping area is a facility located in a Protected Natural Area that allows the development of leisure and educational activities in direct contact with the natural environment of El Hierro.
It is a limited and signposted space in the Frontera Rural Park for stays and overnight stays, in tents and/or caravans, depending on the infrastructure.
Close to the town of El Pinar, Hoya del Morcillo is the main forest recreational area on the island. It occupies a large hole inside the Canarian pine forest that crowns the peaks of the island.
