In North Frisia, the town of Sint Jacobiparochie is also called Sint Jabik. It's a small village with an impressive church. In the vestibule of this Grote church is a pilgrim information center open every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 11am to 3pm.

This church dates from 1844 and replaces the original 16th-century church. It's a strange building by Dutch standards. The porch has four Doric columns and a pediment (a triangular facade).

The bell tower consists of a dome with eight columns standing on a square base. The church was plastered yellow in 2010 and is a striking building with its green and gray accents.

This is the starting point for a 2700 km long pilgrimage route to Santiago.
