The building was opened in 2014. The attractive architecture continues inside. If you have the opportunity, you should stop by during one of the public lectures or open days. The days (or evenings) when the launches of carrier rockets with satellites or space probes are shown to the public are particularly exciting. This is always the case when the MPI in Göttingen has built parts of the satellite/probe.
