Wat Na Phra Lan is a small but impressive Buddhist temple near Mae Nam Pier on Koh Samui. The temple features traditional Thai architecture with striking red and gold accents and offers a tranquil, spiritual atmosphere. A special feature is the monument of King Rama V, which is located on the grounds and can be admired by visitors.

The temple is close to the beach and offers a peaceful environment, ideal for prayers or a relaxing stroll. The grounds are maintained by monks and, in addition to the decorative buildings, also feature donation bowls and a bell for visitors to explore. Wat Na Phra Lan is less touristy and allows visitors to experience an authentic side of Thai temple culture. It is particularly worth a visit if you are in the Mae Nam area or planning a ferry ride.

This beautiful temple complex is located very close to the pier. Although hundreds of people are waiting here for their speedboat to depart to Koh Phangan, among other places, the temple complex is completely deserted. A great way to pass the time while waiting for departure.
