You can take a beautiful and quite long walk along the Dommel in Eindhoven. Here you are at the Lex and Edo Hornemannplantsoen. If you start a little further north, at the end of the Eindhoven Canal, you will first see a lot of heritage, works of art and heritage and then you will enter the park, starting with the Anne Frank Plantsoen. Then you come here and you can continue south towards the Dommel, which provides so much beautiful nature in the region, to the Dommelplantsoen and the confluence of the Tongelreep and Dommel. If you walk further south you will come to the Genneper watermill and the Flower Park, the Frater Simon Deltour Heempark and finally a piece of wetland after which the Dommel flows past the High Tech Campus above the highway. Then a cycle path runs along it and you come to Plas Hanevoet and De Klotputten. Then it is the highway and from then on the river meanders through the well-known nature reserves, water mills and of course along Dommelen where the beer named after the stream is brewed. Quite worth a walk. But of course you can also enjoy it here, with peace and quiet, bridges, greenery, works of art and water birds that are anything but shy.
