With the active support of the youth welfare from "Project Chance" from Frauental/Creglingen, a Celtic house was reconstructed in 2011 near the information center.
This type of house was found in the oppidum of Manching near Ingolstadt, the capital of the Vindeliker.

The Celts (“the brave, noble ones”) are the first central European high culture from the Iron Age to antiquity. The Celts ruled large parts of Europe for eight centuries. But when the mysterious world of civilization emerged around the turn of the Roman Empire, almost nothing was left behind, as the tribes left hardly any inscriptions and no historical works. Only the ground preserves their heritage: tombs, ruins and sanctuaries. Archaeologically, the widest spread of material Celtic culture was from southeast England, northern Spain, and France in the west to western Hungary, Slovenia, and northern Croatia in the east; from northern Italy in the south to the northern edge of the German low mountain range.
Before the Romans spread around the Mediterranean, the Celts (most are farmers and grow spelled and barley and harvest peas, lentils and millet, raise pigs and cattle) mainly settled northern Europe down west to Spain and east to Anatolia.
