We recommend. We had our bikes with us, but we can also walk, with a stroller (playground also available)... great thing, only the exhibition that was there last year is gone. At first I thought the other characters would always stay there ☺️😉. Tour individually possible to lengthen or shorten. Very worth seeing and the Westerbach is also there. 😁

The sculpture "The Promise" by sculptor Stephan Guber from Nidda was created in 2010 within eight weeks directly on site in the sculpture park Niederhöchstadt. Out of massive oak tree trunks still covered with bark, Guber worked out with the chainsaw seven figures grouped in a circle around another egg-shaped object.

Laura Ford (born 1961 in Cardiff, Wales) is considered one of Britain's most versatile contemporary sculptors.

The sculpture "Leaning Behemoth", which was inspired by a character from Mikhail Bulgakov's novel "The Master and Margarita", was created in 2015. The group "A & E Monkeys" (Monkeys in the Emergency Room, 2012) three life-size monkey figurines made of bronze with bandages on leg, head and arm. Finally, the group of "Dancing Clog Girls" (2013) is inspired by historical illustrations that deal with Marie Antoinette's visit to the Schaetzlerpalais in Augsburg.

The works of Laura Ford can be seen from 21 May to 1 October 2017 as part of the exhibition project Blickachsen 11 at Skulpturenpark Niederhöchstadt.
