The Halblech is the largest torrent in the Swabian part of the Bavarian Alps and, after the Wertach, the most important tributary of the Lech in Bavaria. Together with its left upper reaches, it has a length of almost 15 km. A cycling and hiking trail south of the Halblech leads from the village of Halblech continuously to about the southeast of Easter.
Rare species of birds breed here and it should be self-evident that hikers and cyclists adhere to entry bans so as not to disturb the breeding business. You will be rewarded with wonderful impressions and silence.
