Little but fast traffic four-lane expressway with hard shoulder. The hard shoulder is difficult to drive on because it is full of stones and stuff. You can drive VERY fast downhill, the road is mostly good. A change to the hard shoulder is only possible slowly because the asphalt is chamfered every 10-15cm for 10-15cm so that the cars hear when they drive over it. It's not fun with racing bike tires at high speed, it's more dangerous. With the little traffic out of season and 99% of the Spaniards who drive respectfully and keep a lot of distance, you can drive quite well here. BUT tourists with big mobile homes or truck drivers who don't keep their distance cause serious pressure waves. It's no fun then.
I rode the route back and forth, saw some road cyclists there, but would rather avoid them in the future. Even if the descent is really cool fast.
