The footpath between St Neots and Monks Hardwick is paved, so provides an easy walk out of the town. On a summers day the wheat fields have a real English countryside feel. The Manor House of Monks Hardwick, which can been seen from the footpath, was the home of Henry Crowell in the 16th century, second cousin of Oliver Cromwell.
