        Beautiful viewpoint with a view of the lake and the east side of the Klausen Pass.
        Recommendation to only do this with hiking boots. The descent to the lake is poorly marked and partly leads over loose scree. In early summer you also have to cross some small snow fields and it can be a bit muddy.
        The only annoying thing is the roaring motorcycles at the beginning, at the Klausen Pass. But after the first 500m it becomes wonderfully quiet.

                On this side of Lake Griessli, the sand almost has the character of a beach. Every now and then you meet people setting up camp here for the night.
                Also a very nice photo spot to photograph the entire lake.

                  The Griesslisee is fed by a nameless glacier. This is a cirque glacier that is fed by avalanches from the north face. Since 2023/24, the glacier has been rapidly disintegrating and melting not only on the lake front, but also from behind it out of the valley. There will most likely be no more icebergs on the lake like there were a few years ago, as the glacier is moving further and further away from the lake. Our tip: enjoy the view until the glacier no longer exists.
