Búzios is Brazil's Saint-Tropez with beautiful people but without the concrete blocks. Even in high season, when the rich and famous from Sugar Loaf invade, the main town of Armação dos Búzios seems more casual than luxurious: no house is higher than two floors, boutiques and restaurants shine in the blue and whitewashed former fishermen's cottages. In addition to the charming main town, there are more than 20 beaches spread across the peninsula, which are perhaps among the most beautiful in Brazil.
