Klein's house is unique in Supraśl. It was built in the 19th century as the house of the administrator of the Buchholtz factory. Then it was assigned to the parish house of the Evangelical-Augsburg commune. Currently, it is the seat of the Center for Culture and Recreation. It's worth going inside for several reasons.
Go left from the entrance door. The Gallery of Wiktor Wołkow - a recognized photographer who documented the beauty of the landscapes of Podlasie - is waiting for you here. You can buy a book with these amazing photos as a souvenir.
Can you smell an appetizing smell? To the right of the entrance is the Tatar Restaurant. A real Tatar woman cooks here, so be sure to taste a hint of the Orient. You can eat inside or in the garden behind the building.
Look around at the posters displayed in the showcase of the Center for Culture and Recreation. Perhaps interesting workshops are being organized or a concert is being prepared?
Outside the building, in the garden, there is a bicycle stop on the Green Velo trail.
Fun fact: Klein's house starred in the movie! Surely you know "God behind the stove" and the next parts of the trilogy. The building was shown inside and out. "Played" the Police Department.
