Obano Castle is an Aragonese fortification built in the second half of the 11th century, during the reign of Sancho Ramírez. It is located in the municipality of Luna, in the Cinco Villas region. This Romanesque-style castle was built to guard the communication routes between Huesca and Ejea de los Caballeros.
The castle is located near the Arba de Biel River and is known for its defensive tower, which rises to approximately 16 meters in height. Throughout its history, the castle has belonged to the Knights Templar and the Monastery of San Juan de la Peña.
