The three dandelions, as the stainless steel sculptures are popularly called,
adorned the Sachsenplatz from 1972 to 1999 and then had to give way to the Bildermuseum.
The fountains reminiscent of blossoms by the Leipzig architect Harry Müller were stored in several depots in Leipzig in the following years.
As part of the redesign of the open space between tin can and Goerdelerring the dandelion was included in the new concept, and since 2013, these bubbles again.
