Located on the Tröndlinring (former Ring-Messehaus) fountain was created in 1903 by the sculptor Max Unger.
In a round pool of water squeezes a smaller pool of water which is carried by three intertwined fish bodies. In the small basin stands a bronze figure representing a drinking female figure.
The original figure was melted down in 1942 for the production of armaments. Only in the 1950s, the fountain was replaced by a replica of the female figure its original form, which in turn stolen in 1993 and 2003 was replaced by a copy.

The Villers fountain is located on the Leipzig inner city ring in front of the former Ringmessehaus on Tröndlinring in Leipzig.
Erected in memory of the Villers sisters, mother-in-law and wife of the founders.
