The Catholic parish church of St. Gallus Urberach is a classical church building in Rödermark-Urberach, which belongs to the Rodgau-Rödermark pastoral area of the Mainlinie region in the diocese of Mainz. It is under the patron saint of St. Gallus and is considered a landmark of Urberach.
Although the old Urberach church had already been declared dilapidated in 1779, the demolition work did not begin until 1816 and lasted until 1819.
In September 1821 work began on the construction of the new church according to the plans of the Grand Ducal Hesse-Darmstadt chief building officer Georg Moller.
The renovation in 1979 mainly involved a complete redesign of the chancel.
In the course of the renovation work in 1986, the parish church of St. Gallus received its current appearance.
