                  The lookout tower on Lake Sedlitz, made of Corten steel, is 30 meters high. The rust-red patina is reminiscent of the industrial origins of the Lusatian Lake District and of steel mining equipment. Since the inauguration of the International Building Exhibition (IBA) Fürst-Pückler-Land project in 2008, the steel giant has been a popular destination and a prominent resting place for cyclists, skaters and bus groups. Its viewing platform offers a panorama of the Lusatian Lake District, in particular of the Sedlitzer, Geierswalder and Partwitzer See.
