At the end of El Chaltén you reach the Parque Nacional los Glaciares. From here, a well-designed but continuously ascending hiking trail leads up to the Mirador Lomo del Pliegue Tombadu. The path is easy to walk on, but you should have a certain level of fitness. Around 900 meters in altitude have to be mastered over 10 kilometers.
It's the same way back.
In good weather and without clouds, the last short climb up the mountain is certainly very worthwhile. You should carry clothing for all weather conditions, as it can change very quickly. Required food for the entire route must be taken with you.
