Bung Khong Long is the 1098th Ramsar Site in the world, the 2nd place of Thailand, and the 11th largest in the country with an area of 13,800 rai; the area’s nature is abundant with biodiversity in both flora and fauna and is a spot to watch bird migration escaping the cold from Siberia and China. The study found at least 75 species of aquatic plants, 256 species of terrestrial plants, 64 species of fish, 27 species of birds.
