There is a limited capacity of 50 people per day who can make the reservation.
It is a path of about 2.7 km in length and that runs along the dirt track that connects the so-called Old Bridge over the Jándula river with the recreational area of La Recta and the access control to Mount Lugar Nuevo where it starts/ends.

It is not really a trail but a dirt forest track that leads to the Jándula bridge and the Lugar Nuevo farm.
It is normally closed to traffic and there is a guard at the entrance door from the road to the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Head. You must request permission to enter since it is only open for the Pilgrimage and with vehicle restrictions.
