In 1662 Mikuláš Franchimont from Frankenfeld converted the fortress into a baroque palace. In 1822 it was rebuilt in imperial style by Jan Václav Kazimír Deym. After 1945, the castle housed a children's home, which is empty today.

A cylindrical tower stands over the portico at the junction of the two wings. In its current form without any stylistic features, some parts have a Gothic character. Empire vestibule in the west facade, palace chapel P. Marie. - next to the chateau, a baroque two-winged building with strange arcades on the inner sides of the wings, with an Empire portico in the facade (columns with a triangular pediment in the width of the side facade) . - Source hrady.cz
