The Saeftinghe Visitor Center takes you through the unique nature reserve. You will become acquainted with nature, the landscape, the rich history, and above all with the wide space of the marshy landscape that characterizes Saeftinghe. There is also a lot to see and do for children, including an (animation) boat that they can steer across the Western Scheldt.

The visitor center is a logical starting point for the excursions and, also for those who do not want to or cannot enter the area, a good way to get acquainted with this impressive landscape.

Opening hours
Open every day from 1 May to 1 September (except Mondays) from 1 pm to 5 pm.

In the months of April and September open on weekends from 13:00 to 17:00.

Also open on Mondays during Easter and Pentecost from 13:00 to 17:00.

Closed in the winter months from 1 October to the end of March.

Open outside opening hours by appointment: tel. 0114-633110 or bcsaeftinghe@hetzeeuwselandschap.nl.

In the months of September and October, sometimes open during excursions, so on an irregular basis. In that case, the sign on the entrance door indicates 'open'.
