Nice square in the center of Breskens with many restaurants and cafes. In the middle of the square you can't miss the three large colorful fish: a green and blue fish and a pink sea snake. The fishy trio is a work by the Rotterdam artist Albert Kramer, whose maxi play objects can also be admired elsewhere in Breskens.

For me, the market square and the figures always have fond memories of my deceased grandparents.
I've been on holiday in Breskens since I was a child, so for me it's always like coming home when I'm able to be there again and tears flow again every time.
