    Lake Caldonazzo is the largest lake in Trentino among those entirely enclosed within the borders of this autonomous province. Lake Caldonazzo is located in the Alta Valsugana and Bersntol Community and the Brenta river originates from it. It has a surface area of just under six square kilometers and sports such as canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and water skiing are practiced on its waters.

                    The lake is very well known for its touristic attributes. There are many events by the lake in summer. The most famous is the Dragon Boats compeetition where crews of the boats consist of many rowers. Main outflow of the lake is river Brenta.
