Sant Pere de Lavern is a neo-Romanesque style church, protected as a cultural asset of local interest, the work of architect Enric Sagnier. The church has a Latin cross plan with a single nave with two side chapels and a semicircular apse. The old rectory was demolished in 1995 to allow the construction of a new convent of Poor Clare nuns.
The church was rebuilt at the beginning of the 20th century on the remains of the original Romanesque church (dated to the year 917).
