According to the temple legend, it was founded in 1492 and was founded by Oda Tambanokami Taira no Tsunehiro. In the precincts, there are the graves of Tsunehiro Oda, the lord of Odai Castle, the graves of Gonnojo Nobuyuki Tsuda and his wife, the founders of Tsuda Kanryu Spearmanship, and the grave of Masahide Hirate.
