- The national park may only be entered/accessed between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. If you exceed the time, you risk a fine of at least €600... In the evening, the beach is also driven off again (according to the national park guard) - so plan your time
- Sand on average fairly compact and passable. Rideable 2 hours before and after low tide. Best when the water is draining. Now and then there were soft passages.
- Feasible with gravel bike or touring bike with luggage
- There is no shade on the way (even behind the dunes :))
- In Matalascanas at the bp gas station there are washing boxes for cleaning and desalinating the bikes
