The castle was built in the Middle Ages and served as the ancestral seat of the noble family for centuries. Today it is privately owned and not open to the public, but its historical value is undisputed.

Berlichingen Castle, also known as Berlichingen Palace, was a moated castle, later a palace in the Berlichingen district of the Schöntal municipality in the Hohenlohe district of Baden-Württemberg.
Berlichingen Castle, probably built in the 13th century, was a tower-like three-story stone house. It was the ancestral castle of the Lords of Berlichingen, a Hohenlohe fief since 1292 and a Würzburg fief from 1347. Götz von Berlichingen was probably born here around 1480. The castle was first mentioned in the 17th century and is now privately owned.
Please respect privacy, the castle cannot be visited, and unfortunately there is not much to see there, but it was still interesting for me as a history buff because according to Wikipedia my Götzi was born here, thank you very much.
