Bombastic waterfall inside a cave!
The hike itself is not difficult. You park at the latest at the point where we started (we were asked not to continue) and follow the forest path along our route until it narrows to a path at the end. The last 200m down the slope is a bit more difficult as the path is a bit overgrown and blocked with fallen trees.
Down by the river you have to go into the cave to get to the waterfall.
ATTENTION! You have to swim about 20m through the cave before you have solid ground under your feet again!!!
Depending on how much water the river is currently carrying, you have to be able to swim very well in order to withstand the current. You can sometimes hold onto the edge to take a break if needed.
You will be rewarded with fantastic pictures at the end!
Bats will show you the way. ;)
Recommended additional equipment:
- Swimwear
- water shoes
- Floatable phone case
- Hand towel
