The Hermitage of San Bartolomé, is located on top of the mount of the same name. The hermitage was built between the years 1629 and 1633. It is an enclosure in which a very small hermitage is located in which an image of San Bartolomé of an unknown author can be seen.
This hermitage has a general panoramic view of the town of Yeste, from the sacristy or from any part of the enclosure. Over the years, this beloved hermitage was in an unfortunate situation, but thanks to the contributions of the plasterers and its town hall, it was possible to restore it and add a bell tower that did not exist before. It is, if possible, the hermitage that the inhabitants of the town love and care for the most, since their patron is kept here, a patron who day after day watches his children from the top of the hill, cares for them and protects them so that year after year, they can access the hill to celebrate their big day with him through a pilgrimage of unparalleled splendor.
