The historic Kaiserbahnhof in Joachimsthal is an impressive building directly on the Eberswalde - Templin railway line, built by the last German emperor. Kaiser Wilhelm II arrived here by train, and then from here along the Werbellinsee to reach his hunting lodge Hubertusstock by horse-drawn carriage or later by car. The station is now a listed building and has been restored almost true to the original. Outside there are information boards on the imperial family and on the construction of the railway line. The poetic station lanterns by the artist Holger Barthel can be admired on the platform. You can also get married in the historic ambience.
